This Thursday, September 15th, The Boatmen will be performing in Frank’s Bar at 622 North from 10pm – 2am. Inspired by rock, folk, motown, bluegrass and country, the Boatmen are hard to classify. This is what makes a Boatmen show such an organic, energizing, and constantly evolving experience. This 4-part harmony driven chameleon first formed in just 2009, but have have already shared the stage with notable acts such as Old Crowe Medicine Show, Grace Potter, Taj Mahal, Del McCourey, David Grisman, Tony Rice, Yonder Mountain String Band, Tim Reynolds, Afroman, and Railroad Earth.
