The Taste of Southern Rhone Wine Tasting promises to be an enlightening evening for wine enthusiasts and novices alike. Space is limited, reservations are required.
The Southern Rhone produces many of France’s most user-friendly wines, and are France’s warmer, richer, spicier answer to the dry austerity of Bordeaux wines. Rhone’s best bottles can be tucked away for decades, yet Rhône wines immediately warm to New World palates–and remain astoundingly affordable. Join us at the 622 North wine lounge Tuesday, April 19th for what will be another exciting adventure in wine tasting.

The Wine Club at 622 North
622 North showcases wine receptions each month, featuring wine selections and complimenting cuisine from different regions. This month, 622 North is hosting a Red Zinfandel tasting reception that will transport guests through this grape varietal’s unique past, present and future. Considered by some to be the only truly native California grape, Zinfandel flourishes in California, but not in any other world wine region. Zinfandel is also as American in style as a wine can be – big, bold, spicy, jammy, and mouth filling.
622 North Sommelier Trent Crabtree will preside over this and future wine events to offer his special insight into great wines. Executive Chef George Kruse will create an hors d’oeuvres menu to accompany each wine selection and complete what will be a memorable evening.
